Two Board Members Appointed

At the recent Pedorthic FOundation Board of Directors meeting, two directors were appointed to fill open seats. Wayne Rosen CPO, C.Ped, BOCOP, President of Wayne R. Rosen, Inc. in Pembroke Pines, FL and Andy Ullman, President of UCO International in Wheeling, IL, were appointed to seats whose terms expire in 2011.

Wayne Rosen has a long distinguished career in O&P as well as pedorthics. He served on both the PFA and BOC boards, has made over thirty scientific presentations, and has lecutured numerous times in orthotics and pedorthics. He has been appointed to serve on the Fund-Raising, Nominations and By-Laws Committees. He also looks forward to using his abilities in writing and speaking to further the research and career services work of the Foundation.

Andy Ullman, prior to entering the O&P and pedorthic industry in 1997, was a management consultant focusing on environmental management systems. He has degrees from Southern Methodist University and Georgia Institute of Technology. He has been President of UCO International since 2004. This past summer, he served as facilitator for Pedorthic Foundation's strategic planning meeting. He will be serving on the Fund-Raising Committee. He will also serve as an advisor to the board in areas of management and planning.
